From May 24 to 28, the participating nations for the 2022 finals in Switzerland were determined in three qualifying tournaments. The field of participants is now almost complete. The AOFC qualifiers will take place next week.
In Celano, Italy, as well as in the Latvian cities of Valmiera and Koceni, the qualifying tournaments of the European participants for the World Floorball Championships 2022 in Switzerland were played in the past few days. A total of 10 teams qualified. Switzerland, already seeded as host, and the winner of the AMER qualification, Canada, are joined by the following nations:
- Denmark
- Germany
- Estonia
- Finland
- Latvia
- Norway
- Poland
- Sweden
- Slovakia
- Czech Republic
Starting on May 31, the participating nations from Asia and Oceania will be determined in Singapore.
Group draw on June 8
The group draw with all qualified nations will take place on Wednesday, June 8. The draw will be streamed via the IFF’s Youtube channel.
