Sweden’s head coaches Thomas Brottmann and Niklas Nordén announced their squad for the World Floorball Championships 2022 yesterday. Among the players called up are four WFC newcomers.

The reigning world champion Sweden can count on a top-class squad at this World Floorball Championships. Among them are well-known names like Alexander Galante Carlström or Robert Nilsberth. The latter was honored at the Euro Floorball Tour for 100 international games and belongs to the veterans. Four players from the squad are competing in a World Championship for the first time: goalkeeper Carl Bending-Sörling, Linus Holmgren, Malte Lundmark and Linus Malmström.

For the coaching team Brottmann and Nordén it is clear: “We don’t come to only defend our gold, we come to Switzerland to win gold.” For the duo, the World Championships in Helsinki was their first WFC as head coaches.
