Norway travels to Switzerland with a mixed team. In addition to six WFC debutants, Norway can also count on some experienced players. And a record man: Ketil Kronberg is looking ahead to his 12th WFC participation.
Norway’s head coach has put together a mixed squad for the 14th Men’s World Floorball Championships. Six players will make their WFC debuts on November 5 against Switzerland. On the other hand, Norway can also count on experienced veterans. Among them is a record-breaking player: at 42 years old, Ketil Kronberg is not only the oldest player in the tournament, but also the one with the most WFC appearances under his belt. He will be playing in his 12th World Championship. Only the first two WFC, in 1996 and 1998, took place without the record-breaking player. Kronberg has set himself a big goal for the WFC 2022: a medal. Norway is the only team outside the top 4 nations (Finland, Sweden, Switzerland, Czech Republic) that has managed to win a medal. However, this was at the first World Championships in 1996, at that time still without Ketil Kronberg.
