Head coach Radomir Mrázek is relying mainly on familiar faces. Only three newcomers are in the lineup for the World Floorball Championships 2022 in Switzerland. On the other hand, Peter Nehila returns to the Slovakian WFC team after six years.

The team from Slovakia experienced only a few changes compared to the World Championships in Helsinki. Three newcomers could impose themselves on head coach Radomir Mrázek: Vladimír Bačinský, Samuel Kelemen and Jakub Košarišťan. One name is returning to the WFC roster after a long time: Peter Nehila. His last participation in the WFC was six years ago. He was last in the squad of the Slovaks in 2019 at the Polish Cup, until he could celebrate his return to the team at the 6 Nations Floorball Challenge and immediately pushed himself for a place in the World Floorball Championship squad.

For two players from the squad, Switzerland is not an unknown place. Michal Dudovic has been playing for SV Wiler-Ersigen since 2017 and Lukáš Ujhelyi for Alligator Malans since this season.
