Federal Councillor Viola Amherd will not take part in the opening ceremony of the 2022 Men’s World Floorball Championships in Zurich due to her Covid-19 disease. She was originally scheduled to open the World Championships with a speech.

As already reported in the media over the past few days, Federal Councillor Viola Amherd has fallen ill with a Coronavirus infection. For this reason, the head of the DDPS will not be giving the speech at the opening ceremony as originally planned.
