A major event such as the WFC requires lots of material on the one hand and, on the other hand, also creates a large amount of waste products. This means there are many ways of saving CO2 by choosing appropriate products and implementing a clever waste and recycling management system. Our goal for the WFC 2022 is 536 tons, which means saving over 1,150 tons of CO2 compared to 2018. Smart and innovative ideas and solutions are in demand, whether with the right choice of clothing for the volunteers, recycling material or by finding shorter transportation routes. Challenge accepted!
